Whole Wheat Spaghetti with Creamy Sweet Corn Sauce 

Made with healthy, yet scrumptious, Del Monte Whole Wheat Spaghetti, this luscious dish is a something you can indulge on even in the middle of your diet.

Ingredients

100 g Del Monte Whole Wheat Spaghetti
1 tbsp Del Monte Olive Oil
10 Sun-dried tomatoes in oil (sliced)
1 tin Del Monte Sweet Corn
2 tbsp Garlic (finely chopped)
75 g Cheddar cheese
1/2 tbsp Freshly cracked black pepper
2 cups Milk
1 tsp Dried chives
some salt to taste
1 tbsp chilli flakes

Method


  1. Your health always comes first so start off with the Del Monte Whole Wheat Spaghetti. Boil the pasta and cook for 7 minutes till al dente. Add a little oil to make sure the pasta doesn’t stick.

  2. While the pasta boils, heat a mix of Del Monte olive oil & 1/2 tbsp. of the sun-dried tomatoes in another pan. Then add the garlic to it.

  3. When the mix turns light brown, add the red chilli flakes and freshly cracked black pepper for a spicy touch. Add the dried chives and mix it all well.

  4. For the creamy sauce, add the Del Monte Sweet Corn and milk and mix well. Add cheese and mix thoroughly to attain the richness of the sauce.

  5. Toss the pasta in this sauce to coat it evenly and serve immediately.
