TOMATO BASIL RICE 

Prepare this Italian style tomato basil rice with leftover rice, fresh basil leaves, Del Monte pizza pasta sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning. You can also add vegetables of your choice.

Ingredients

150 Gram Left Over Boiled Rice( From Lunch)
60 Gram Tomato (Slice )
2 TBSP del monte pizza pasta sauce
4-5 Sprig Basil Leaves
1 Basil Sprig
1 TBSP Chop Garlic
2 TBSP Oil
1/4 TBSP Red Chilli Powder
10 Gram Onion(Small Dice)
2-3 Gram Italian Seasoning
1/2 TBSP lemon juice
1/2 TBSP Coriander Leaves
- salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Heat Oil in a Pan add chopped garlic saute it for minute ,add chopped onion,sliced tomato, cook it for 4-5 minutes .
  2. Add Pizza Pasta Sauce, Italian dressing,lemon juice ,mix it well.Cook till oil seprates the Masala.
  3. Add rice in it,add chop coriander leves & chop basil leaves,mix it well,correct the seasoning.
  4. Garnish it with small diced tomatoes & basil sprig.

Chef's Tips : If we add vegetable stock,It will enhance the flavour.

Variation : We can also make with Tri pepper,Zuchni,Brocoli & Whole Corn      Kernel.
