Pasta salad with chicken ham 

When you have fussy kids who don’t eat vegetables, you make a salad loaded with all the healthy vegetables and with the kids favorite ingredient – pasta. Use Delmonte’s pasta to make one healthy salad that kids and adults will love. 

Ingredients

1 cup Del Monte corn whole kernels
3/4 cup frozen green peas
1 cup chicken ham, chopped into small bites
2 teaspoon red chili flakes
1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
2 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon Delmonte olive oil
- Parsley sprigs for garnish
2 cups delmonte pasta

Method


  1. Cook Delmonte's pasta in water seasoned with salt and 1 teaspoon Delmonte olive oil using packet instructions. Once cooked, drain the pasta and keep aside.
  2. Heat 1 teaspoon Delmonte olive oil in a pan. Add Delmonte corn whole kernels, green peas and chicken ham. Saute on medium heat for about a minute.
  3. Now add cooked pasta and toss well.
  4. Add all the seasoning – salt, pepper powder, red chili flakes and Italian seasoning. Toss well. Turn off the flame immediately.
  5. Remove pasta from heat, garnish with parsley leaf and serve immediately.
