ONE POT SPAGHETTI PARMESAN

Make this delicious one-pot spaghetti parmesan during busy workdays for your family. Add a wholesome touch by using Del Monte whole wheat spaghetti and Del Monte olive oil.

Ingredients

250 Grams Del Monte Whole Wheat Spaghetti
1 TBSP Del Monte Olive Oil
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 cups chicken stock
1 cup milk
2 TBSP cream
1 TBSP butter
1 TBSP dried Italian herbs
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish
- fresh parsley leaves, to garnish
- Salt & Pepper To Taste

Method

  1. In a non-stick skillet heat the olive oil over medium-high heat & add the chopped garlic and cook till golden brown.
  2. Add the chicken stock, milk, butter, and whole wheat spaghetti. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  3. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most of the liquid is absorbed and pasta is al dente. Add in the parmesan, dried Italian herbs and cream just until heated through. If required, add more milk to get the desired consistency.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley leaves and serve immediately.
