Herb Olive

This simple olive recipe is great to enjoy as a snack with hummus and pita. To make the herbed olives, add Del Monte pitted black olives, Del Monte pitted green olives, thyme, rosemary, parsley, fresh chopped garlic.

Ingredients

½ Cup Del Monte Pitted Green Olives
½ Cup Del Monte Pitted Black Olives
½ Cup Del Monte Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary
1 teaspoon chopped flat parsley
4-5 cloves of garlic

Method

  1. Fine chop all the herbs except rosemary.
  2. Mix the herbs, garlic, and olive oil. Mix nicely.
  3. Add the olives in a jar with the lid. Pour the herb oil into the olives.
  4. Seal the jar with the lid. Shake it gently to coat the olives with the herb oil.
  5. Keep it in the fridge and serve from time to time as required.
