Mayo burst potato balls

Make this delicious party appetizer garlic potato balls with simple pantry ingredients. These crunchy deep-fried balls are best enjoyed warm with Del Monte Garlic Mayo and pudina chutney.

Ingredients

2 Boiled Potatoes (medium sized)
8-10 Garlic cloves (roasted)
10-12 Fresh Coriander (chopped)
2 tbsp Arrowroot Powder
2 tbsp Maida/All Purpose Flour
1/2 tsp Del Monte Garlic Mayo (filling for each ball)
- Salt To Taste
- Pepper to taste
1 TSP cumin powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Red Chilly Flakes (can be adjusted as per pref)
1 tsp Anardana Powder (optional)
- Bread Crumbs to coat
- Suji to coat
- Oil for frying

Method


  1. Preparing Batter- In a bowl mix together, mashed boiled potatoes, arrowroot, maida, coriander, minced roasted garlic, and all the seasonings listed above in the ingredients.
  2. Making the Balls- Now divide the batter into equal-sized portions and make a ball out for each part. Make a small hole inside each ball and fill it with Del Monte Garlic Mayo. Now cover this carefully to close the ball.
  3. Coating- On a plate mix breadcrumbs and some suji. Coat each ball all around by dipping in this mix.
  4. Fry- In a saucepan, heat oil for frying. Make sure the oil is very hot before frying to get a crispy potato ball. Fry each ball carefully without breaking the outer layer until they are brown and crispy. Serve hot with Del Monte Garlic Mayo, some Chaat Masala sprinkled on top, and your favorite chutney.
