Farfalle Pasta Salad 

Make this delicious pasta recipe with Del Monte Farfalle pasta, garlic cloves, onions, cucumber, tomatoes, Del Monte extra virgin olive oil, mixed Italian herbs, and Del Monte black pitted olives.  

Ingredients

50 grams Del Monte Farfalle pasta or any other Del Monte pasta
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 garlic cloves
1 medium size tomato
1 small cucumber
1 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
1/2 TBSP Mixed herbs
1 TBSP dry basil
1/2 TBSP dry oregano
5-7 Del Monte pitted black olives, sliced
- salt and pepper to taste

Method


  1. Heat enough water with some salt.
  2. When the water starts boiling, add the pasta along with the garlic clove.
  3. Cook the pasta till they are done.
  4. To avoid the pasta from sticking to each other, add some oil and stir gently.
  5. In a salad bowl, add all the veggies and herbs. Add the pasta and toss.
  6. Take the cooked garlic clove and mash it in a mortar & pestle.
  7. To this add the olive oil, vinegar, salt & pepper.
  8. Stir the seasoning and add it to the pasta.
  9. Toss and serve pasta salad garnished with some pomegranate arils.
