Chilli Corn Garlic 

A healthy snack made with the goodness of crispy fried Del Monte corn kernels and a melange of rich aromatic flavours of Del Monte green chili sauce and brewed vinegar is one of those simple yet delicious recipes that you can prepare any time. Garnish with more coriander leaves and let this corn snack work its magic on your guests.

Ingredients

500 ML Refined Oil (For Frying)
1/2 Cup Garlic (Whole)
1/2 Cup Corn Flour
1 Cup DelMonte Whole Corn Kernel
2 TBSP DelMonte Green Chili Sauce
2 TBSP DelMonte Brewed Vinegar
1 TBSP Soya Sauce
- Salt To Taste
1 Tsp Sugar
1 Tsp Coarsely Ground Black Pepper
1 Tsp Fresh Coriander (Chopped)

Method

  1. Remove excess water from DelMonte Whole Corn Kernels by keeping it on a kitchen towel.
  2. Now mix whole garlic, DelMonte Whole Corn Kernel together. Dust it with corn flour so that it coats evenly.
  3. Deep fry till golden and crisp. Keep it aside.
  4. In a pan add DelMonte Green Chili Sauce, DelMonte Brewed Vinegar, soya sauce, seasonings and heat it.
  5. Mix the crispy corn and garlic mixture to it and toss it for couple of seconds. Finish with chopped coriander.
  6. Serve hot.
  7. Chef s Tip : Deep fry the garlic and you can store it for future use as well.
  8. Variations : You can add DelMonte Schezwan Sauce for schezwan flavour.
