BAKED OLIVES

Make this scrumptious snack with Del Monte green olives, Del Monte Mayonnaise, parsley, black pepper, breadcrumbs, eggs, and all-purpose flour. Enjoy this snack with a delicious Del Monte Mayonnaise dip.

Ingredients

30 green olives pitted
1/4 Cup Del Monte Mayonnaise
- Black Pepper to taste
1 parsley tablespoon fine chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup plain flour

Method


  1. Preheat oven to 200 degree C.
  2. Line a baking sheet with a parchment paper, set aside.
  3. Combine mayo, parsley, seasoning and garlic powder in a bowl.
  4. Whisk nicely. Transfer to a pastry bag fitted with a small round tip (or use a resealable plastic bag and snip one corner of bag open with scissors).
  5. Pipe mayo mixture into the pitted olives.
  6. You could use a tiny spoon as well for the purpose.
  7. Dust each stuffed olive in our, then dip into the beaten egg.
  8. Shake off excess egg, then coat with bread crumbs and place on a baking sheet 1 inch apart.
  9. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
  10. Serve in a bowl or on skewers with a mint mayo.
