Achari Mushroom and Olive Sandwich 

Ingredients

Mushrooms 1 packet, whole, stems removed and cleaned
Onion 1, cut into rings
Lettuce washed, 2 leaves
Tomatoes 1, cut into slices
DelMonte’s Achari Mayo 2 tbsp + extra to put on top
1 tbsp DelMonte’s Black Olives
2tbsp DelMonte’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Sub Bread , cut into half
1 Cheese Slice
Salt & Pepper as per taste

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mushrooms and fry on high heat until it’s light golden. Add salt and pepper as per taste and fry for 1 min again. Turn off heat and add DelMonte’s Achari Mayo. Mix them until well coated.
  2. Toast slices of bread in olive oil. Transfer to a plate and start building the sandwich.
  3. To the base bread  slice  - layer with lettuce, cheese slice,  tomatoes and onion. Sprinkle salt & pepper. Add the achari mushrooms. Top with some more achari mayo and then add the black olives. Cover with the top bread slice.
  4. Serve immediately to avoid bread becoming soggy.
